College of Arts and Sciences Requirements

The lists of ENS Area electives contain many other possibilities for satisfying the A&S requirements.  This will provide the students a great deal of flexibility in meeting the A&S requirement of completing 90 credit hours in A&S or 120 credit hours acceptable to A&S, and make graduation within four years easily achievable.

  • A&S Humanities requirement
    • The ENS Core requirements PHI 336 and ENG 425 both satisfy this.
  • A&S natural sciences requirement
    • ENS 400 satisfies this requirement.
    • When approved, ENS 202 will also qualify as an A&S Natural Science.

  • A&S social sciences requirement
    • Area courses with the prefixes ANT, ECO, GEO, PS, and SOC satisfy the A&S social sciences requirement.
